Today we're going to be taking a look at the Lippert Manual Pull-Out Triple Step for RVs. This manually operated RV step makes it easy to get into and out of your motor home. Simply pull out the steps for use and then position them back in place for travel. Really nice design. Each step surface is going to feature two strips of non-skid tread tape that's going to provide sure footing so you won't slip as you get into and out of your RV and a nice rounded edge at the front of each step really helps do a great job at eliminating sharp corners. I also want to mention that each step is going to have two channels on it. These channels do a great job at trapping dirt and moisture, keeping your feet elevated and then there's drain holes at the end of each of those channels for all of that stuff to escape. When you're ready to move it into a stowed position, this step flips up on top. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Lippert single, manual pull-out step for RVs. This is a manually-operated RV step that makes it easy to get into and out of your motor home. To get it into the usable position, just grab here in the center on that front lip, pull it out. It's got these nice indentions 00:00:23 here that grab onto that housing or that mounting base to lock it into that position. Then, when you're ready to move it to a stowed position, tilt up and then just rotate it back in and it's going to automatically lock into a stowed position which is a really neat design of the unit. Now, the step itself is going to feature a couple strips of non-skid tape. This is going to provide sure footing. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the "Lippert Manual Pull-Out Steps for RVs." This is a manually-operated system. It makes it very easy to get into and out of your motor home. As you can see right now, I have the steps in the usable position, so I am going to go ahead and fold them up, that way I can show you how to easily unfold them when you're ready to use them. In order to fold them up, you just rotate the steps on top of themselves. It's got a nice large grab handle under that middle step. When it's in the stowed position, you don't have to worry about that coming loose. It engages automatically in that position and it'll hold in that position during travel. more

It's a really nice, low-profile design. It's going to increase your ground clearance. Taking a look at just the overall height of the unit from very bottom to very top, it's only going to give us a height measurement of about 4 and three-quarters of an inch. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Flexco manual pull-out step for RVs. This is a manually operated RV step that makes it easy to get into and out of your RV. All you have to do is pull the step out right here at the center, and that's going to put the step into a usable position, so just pull it out for use, and then when you're ready to travel, pull it up in the center, and allow it to fold back into itself, and it's going to lock into a stored position for safe travel. A few key feature I want to point out about the unit is right here at the front, it's going to have an inch and a half wide strip of grip tape on the edge of the step that's going to offer additional traction, so it has a really nice non-slip surface. It's going to have the oval tread holes, which is going to provide sure footing. Those also allow for dirt and moisture to actually fall through the steps so it doesn't collect on the step surface. The unit's made from a steel construction. It's going to have a black, powder-coated finish on it, so it's very strong and durable, as well as highly resistant to rusting corrosion. more

These steps are designed for applications with a vertical height measurement from 31 inches to 40 inches. This would mount about 1/8 of an inch below the door that's the recommended clearance between the bottom of the door and the top of the mounting bracket. Stromberg Carlson Folding Platform Step Review- Video

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Stromberg Carlson Adjustable Height 24 by 16 Folding Platform Step with a 300-pound weight capacity. Part number is S-150. As you can see here, our platform style step is fully adjustable from a full 8-inch lift. When our legs are folded in, it gives us 4 inches worth of lift. Very heavy duty steel construction. It's got a solid black powder coat finish on it. It'll keep this looking good and resistant to corrosion for a long time. The stepping surface we'll actually use is a very good, kind of an abrasive material. It's got a grip texture on here so you're really going to hold on no matter what the weather is. more

Lippert RV Electric Sliding Step Installation - 2006 Freightliner Sprinter- Video

Today on our 2006 Sprinter, we'll be installing the Lippert RV Electric Sliding Step, part number LC285306. We'll go ahead and review the operation. With the RV battery power on and the door switch on, we'll simply open up the screen door and it will extend the step, also turning on the step illumination light. Then when we close the door, it will retract the step. Now we'll go ahead with our install. To begin our install, we'll first need to remove the old or manufacturer's step. To do this, we'll start by removing the old electrical. We'll remove the 4-pin plug by pulling back on the lock connector and then separating the two connections. more

Today we're going to review part number EHS-103-R. This is the Stromberg Carlson Econo-Porch Trailer Step with the handrail and the landing. This is the triple step design. This part model trailer step will provide the stability of a stationary step with an interchangeable handrail that you can use on either side, right or left side.This does come fully assembled and to put it together it's very simply you just unfold it and attach these braces. Basically there's two braces on each step so there's six here and then two back here-you just unbolt these and the braces will rotate out of the way. The whole unit will collapse, you'll remove the handrail and it's ready to go. more

Lippert RV Manual Pull-Out Step Installation- Video

Today were going to install the Stromberg Carlson RV manual pull out step with a 9 inch drop part #: SM-24-39. Now weve already measured for the replacement stairs. All well need to do is to locate the four mounting points for our stairs. Youll see here that there are four carriage bolts with a lock washer and a nut on the other side. We can go underneath the trailer and undo the fascia allowing us to get our arm up and undo the nuts for the stairs mounting. Now here on the well repeat the same process removing the bolts holding the fascia on. more

Measuring for an RV Manual Pull-Out Step- Video

Today we're going to show you how to measure for the RV manual pull out steps and attachment out rigger. Now the biggest difference between these steps is the depth of the bottom stair from the center of the attachment point at the top of the mounting plate. First, we need to measure the width of the stair assembly. In this case, it's 27 1/2 inches. We'll also measure the stair height which is 9 inches. The third measurement that we need to take is from the center of the step assembly here at the top at the cross bar and make a diagonal line straight down to the edge of the bottom stair. more
